How Does Lip Enhancement with Fillers Work?
Before treatment begins, an anaesthetic cream or a small dental block injection is used to completely numb the lips. Most patients find the treatment very easy to tolerate once the anaesthetic has taken effect. A fine needle is used to place precise amounts of hyaluronic acid filler into the targeted areas of the lip.
The filler adds immediate volume and structure to the lip tissue. Because hyaluronic acid attracts and holds water, it continues to hydrate and plump the area naturally in the days following treatment. Week 2
The filler has fully integrated with the lip tissue. Shape, volume and definition are now at their best. This is your final result, and most patients are delighted with how natural and balanced everything looks.
Day 3 to 5
Swelling settles, and the lips begin to take on their true shape. Any small marks or bruising fade, and the definition starts to become clear. Most patients feel confident going out without any concerns by this stage.
